During the pandemic, we usually have around 60 guests. In normal times we can help up to 115 men per night.
Our service focuses on helping homeless men, mostly older, by offering them shelter and supportive services. We have a long history of helping older men and around 25% have jobs.
Our guests check in during the mid-to-late afternoon and leave first thing in the morning. Staff are on-site 24 hours per day / 365 days per year.
Because of the age and profile of our guests, we have very few incidents of any kind, however our staff and security team are well trained and strong protocols are in place.
We estimate 4-6 years until the hospital moves to its new location on Station Street in east False Creek Flats.
Our previous building was sold and we had to find a new location.
