The Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) Committee was established by Archbishop J. Michael Miller in 2014 primarily to educate and raise awareness of the reality of human trafficking in our society.
The committee’s mandate is to educate the People of God on the injustice of human trafficking in our community. The committee has organized presentations to numerous groups, educating and raising awareness of the sexual exploitation among the most marginalized in our society, especially our racialized women, youth, and children.
