Make Every Sunday Matter
Sunday is an important part of our community. This is the time when we come together at Mass, in the parish, and in shared activities to experiencing deeper faith and a greater sense of community.
We want to help make these moments matter for our parishioners and newcomers, starting with our celebration of Jesus and welcoming in our community.
Celebrate Like We Mean It
Effective Preaching: Our goal is relevant preaching. We bring homilies that connect the Gospel to our hearts and lives, promoting deeper conversion. We will offer preaching instruction that will:
- Focus on proclaiming the core Gospel message
- Improve public speaking techniques
- Provide ways to get effective feedback from parishioners
Beautiful Worship: Our goal is to foster truly beautiful music because it makes it easier to pray and to encounter God at Mass. Providing beautiful music is challenging but with this as a goal, we hope to increase support for parish music ministries with on-going workshops, competitions and training.
Welcome Like We Mean It
Our goal is to provide ideas and ongoing support that will contribute to transforming every parish into a welcoming community.
The Pastoral Centre teams will provide training by evangelization and customer-service experts to assist parish staff and volunteers in developing a hospitality plan based on their specific demographics and felt needs.
We will collect and share our best practices and parish successes regarding hospitality.
