We support parish ministry leaders- loving, inspiring, training, consulting, and collaborating with them. Our Lay Formation team at the John Paul II Pastoral Centre is here to serve you as you assist your pastors  in serving the faithful of our Archdiocese.

Anyone assisting in the life of the parish in a formative role is a ministry leader. The role could be volunteer or paid, titled or general. Examples include Coordinators (PREP, LWC, RCIA Youth, Young Adult) and their catechists, Parish Council members, Bible study leadersProclaim members, those coordinating and assisting with music and liturgy, and mentor couples. Do you form and lead others closer to Christ? Then you are a parish ministry leader.

In the formation of the laity, we accompany people to conversion and sanctification through the tasks of Catechesis. Lay Formation is always offered with intention and through a kerygmatic lens.

Our Vision

Each of our parishes strives to be a place where the laity are well-formed in order to live a life of faithful witness, in words and deeds, throughout the Archdiocese of Vancouver.

We would love to support you in your ministry! Contact us today!
