YAM Retreat
On April 6th-7th young adult coordinators and their core teams will be gathering for a retreat at Camp Luther. The retreat, True Devotion, is inspired by St. Francis de Sales Introduction to the Devout Life. There will be time for them to grow and share as a team and meet other teams around the Archdiocese.
Father, we pray for the young adult leaders and their teams gathering from across the Archdiocese. Please bring many of them to join us. May the retreat be a time of unity, spiritual growth, and new connections. Give them rest and inspiration for their future service.
EXPO4LIFE
The EXPO4LIFE event is happening on Thursday, April 4 and is hosted by the Catholic High School Reverence for Life and Social Justice clubs from around the Archdiocese. Students and educators from schools across Greater Vancouver will gather for an exciting opportunity to build connections, share ideas and form lasting community. Students, clergy and educators alike will explore, engage and learn together about how we can help preserve the sanctity of life in all aspects and phases of life. This year's EXPO is about everyone coming together as children of the Creator, and citizens of the World. At this event, life and justice are celebrated and honored.
We pray for the success of this event and that the Holy Spirit will guide the organizing committee in glorifying God in their work. We also pray for the students and teachers that will be participating in the event: that they will be open to the message presented and grow in a community of faith.
Infertility Webinar
More and more couples are experiencing struggles with infertility. They find themselves suffering deeply. They may feel “less than.” They find themselves on a difficult and lonely path. They may feel angry — even angry at God — or jealous of others who seem to have no difficulty starting and raising a family.
The Archdiocese of Vancouver wants these couples to know that they are seen; they are important; and we care about them. They are still a family. We are offering a two-part webinar series offering both practical information and resources about infertility, and pastoral care and support about how to navigate the cross of infertility.
We pray for all couples who are experiencing the pain of infertility. That they come to know that they are not alone in their struggles and find comfort and encouragement from others who are on the same journey.
Project Advance Commencement Mass and Lunch, April 6
The 2024 Project Advance Commencement Mass will take place on April 6th at St. Mary's Parish in Vancouver, followed by lunch in the Parish Hall. Parish volunteer teams, priests and pastors will join together to mark the official start of the 2024 Project Advance Appeal, "Building our Parish Community". Please pray for a successful and fruitful appeal this year.

Indigenous Relations
Please pray for the ongoing work of healing and reconciliation with our Indigenous brothers and sisters. Pray especially for the committee of Indigenous and Church leaders who decide where local funds are invested to best promote healing and reconciliation.
