The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry supports parishes, young adult leaders, and young adult ministries by connecting people and organizations, providing training and resources, and facilitating archdiocesan-wide events.

For Pastors and Parish Staff:

  • We provide consultations to assess the needs and desires of the parish for a vibrant young adult ministry.
  • We offer parish information sessions on young adult ministry for all staff, parish council members and interested young adults.
  • If looking to hire a Young Adult Ministry Coordinator, we can also assist by providing job descriptions and salary scales.

For Young Adult Ministry Leaders (parish or non-parish based):

  • We offer a few courses through the Institutes of Adult Education.
  • Additional training specific to young adult ministry is available upon request.

For young adults:

  • If you’re interested in learning more about the faith, please ask your pastor for some suggestions or perhaps join a bible group or faith study, take a course through the Institutes of Adult Education, or through St. Mark’s College Continuing Education Courses.
  • There are also many volunteer opportunities in your parish and archdiocese where you can grow in your faith and serve others.
