Are you trying to cope with a loss in your life? Accompanying someone suffering with grief? Are you in need of support? Do you feel alone?

Registered psychologist Denis Boyd will discuss healthy grief reactions and offer suggestions on how to manage them in “Living Through Grief” on Saturday January 6 from 10:30 am – 12 :30 pm, at St. Helen Church Hall, on the lower level at 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby. The presentation will also cover grief and faith, factors which influence grief, children and loss and unhealthy grief reactions. There will be time for questions and discussion.

Denis Boyd MA RPsych is a counsellor specializing in marriage, grief and stress. His popular talks and workshops include topics such as marriage, grief, retirement, emotional maturity, family relationships.

Free admission. Refreshments provided. Pre-registration is not required. The hall has elevator access.

This talk is the third in the Growing Christian Life series organized by parishes in the East Vancouver deanery, supported by the Ministries and Outreach Office, Archdiocese of Vancouver, to encourage and provide support and assistance with day to day challenges in personal, family and community life.
