What keeps you from sharing your faith?

In partnership with New Evangelization Summit founder Michael Dopp, the Archdiocese of Vancouver is inviting ministry leaders and members involved in evangelistic and discipleship ministries to a one-day training conference with worship, fellowship, and inspiring speakers who will share how to step out in faith and share the joy of the Gospel.

Whether you’re a pastor, youth ministry leader, or you’re starting up Alpha or Discover Discipleship at your parish, Setting Hearts Ablaze¬†is designed to support and help you live out your personal call to evangelize.¬†Be inspired, receive practical assistance, and connect with other Catholics!

Our keynote speaker, Michael Dopp, has been involved in a variety of ministries dedicated to evangelization and has been involved in mission projects in Europe, Africa, and North America. In 2016, Michael co-founded, a new online membership forum dedicated to the New Evangelization.

Worship leader, Joseph San Jose is a disciple, husband, and father living as a campus missionary with Catholic Christian Outreach. He is passionate about helping people worship, pray, and respond to God’s loving call through music.

Prior to his current role as the Archbishop’s Delegate for Development and Ministries, Brett Powell served in parish ministry and for many years as Vice President of Catholic Christian Outreach. Brett has been a contributing writer to various publications including an eight-year stint writing meditations for The Word Among Us and has served as a mentor of Catholic leaders in business and in Pastoral leadership.
