Journey to Mercy – A World Youth Day Celebration

Journey to Mercy – A World Youth Day (WYD) Celebration.  The 31st WYD will take place in Krakow, Poland from July 26-31, 2016.  Millions of young people are expected to gather with Pope Francis to encounter Christ and His Church through prayer, catechesis, service and fellowship.  Over 400 young adults from different parishes from around the Archdiocese of Vancouver will be making the pilgrimage this summer.  With many unable to attend the international gathering, the Archdiocese will celebrate locally through the Journey to Mercy event.  The theme of the 31st WYD is from Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”
