Your Brain on Twitter by Dr. Emi Garzitto

Video games, online gaming, social media and all things electronic are here to stay with both positive and negative outcomes. How do we help children (and adults) cope with the ever-increasing culture of distraction? This presentation will explore what happens to our brains with the constant bombardment of distractions. It provides concrete ideas on what parents and teachers can do to counteract negative outcomes. Key points of the presentation will be provided for parents to take home. Join us on Wendesday, Oct. 18, from 7-9 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School, 1370 W 73rd Ave, Vancouver.
