Porn Unmasked

What does porn have to do with our culture and our relationships? Can porn be an addiction?
Is it changing our sexuality and leading to more degrading and violent sexual behaviours?

Come hear the answer to these questions and so much more from Dr. Gail Dines as she uncovers how pornography is impacting our children and culture as a whole. Join us on Sunday, Sept. 10, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Vancouver Public Library, 350 W Georgia Street, Vancouver. Cost is $15. To purchase tickets, visit bit.ly/PornUnmaskVan

Dr Gail Dines is a professor of sociology and women’s studies at Wheelock College, where she is also chair of the American Studies department. Having researched and written about the porn industry for over twenty years, Dr. Dines is internationally acclaimed as the leading expert on how pornography shapes our identities, culture, and sexuality. She is a consultant to government agencies in the US and abroad, including the UK, Norway, Iceland, and Canada. Dr Dines is also founder of CultureReframed.org and brings an uncompromising message about the devastating effects of porn.

**Please note that due to the nature of the mature discussion, we ask that attendees for this event be over 18.
