The Archdiocese of Vancouver announces its new Priorities and Goals, which will focus our pastoral efforts and mission as we work to intentionally help people experience God’s merciful love.
Introducing the Priorities and Goals, Archbishop Miller invited everyone to play a role in their implementation. “Each of you is crucial to this endeavour, by lending a hand and offering advice on how we can all work together.”
The Catholic Charities Men’s Hostel provides emergency shelter for over 100 transient or destitute men in the caring and compassionate spirit of Jesus Christ. In addition to offering beds, the Hostel provides access to food, social services and other life necessities to address guests’ needs. Under the direction of the Director of Emergency Shelter, the Guest Attendant is responsible for the immediate and short-term needs of the guests.
Star of the Sea Parish is seeking a dynamic individual with a strong commitment to young people and the Roman Catholic faith to serve as the Youth Ministry Coordinator for the parish. The Youth Ministry Coordinator will plan and execute comprehensive programming for school students and young adults.
